Ellissia Price-Fagin, M.A.T.

Ellissia Price-Fagin is a retired elementary counseling specialist, elementary school counselor and was an elementary teacher in both Fairfax County public schools and Washington, D.C. public schools.

She has extensive experience with diverse populations and diverse learning environments.

Price-Fagan is particularly adept at assessing needs; developing and implementing innovative programs and resources; writing curriculum; and providing guidance and counseling to school counseling professionals.

She was awarded the VCA Van Hoose Career Service Award, emeritus membership status and VCA Division Member of the Year. She was honored as VSCA Supervisor of the Year and ASCA Counselor of the Year.

Price-Fagan has served as vice president of Virginia Counselors Association Foundation, newsletter editor and past president of the Virginia Association for Specialists in Group Work.

The VCA Foundation also honored her at the VCA Convention in 2023, by awarding her the John Cook Award, in appreciation for long and meritorious service to VCA and the counseling profession.
